ST. LOUIS, MO, USA – January 4, 2018—Travelers at St. Louis Lambert International Airport have a major new amenity to make their trip more comfortable and relaxing. Wingtips St. Louis, the first and only common-use lounge at St. Louis Lambert, is located in Terminal 2, near Gate E29. The term “Common-Use” means that members and their guests do not need to be a frequent flyer, a premium member or ticketed on any particular airline. The lounge provides guests with an upscale environment to relax, refresh and recharge while they wait for their flights.
St. Louis is the second Wingtips location in the nation, joining the lounge at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport. Any guest from any airline and any class of airline ticket is welcome in the Wingtips Lounge. Every traveler that visits Wingtips is a special guest and will find exceptional customer service and access to many complimentary in-lounge amenities, including a food buffet with cold and hot options available for breakfast, lunch and dinner along with snacks and desserts throughout the day, non-alcoholic beverages and selection of spirits, wines and beers for guests 21 and older, in-lounge restrooms, and high-speed Wi-Fi. All these amenities and more are available complimentary to all Wingtips guests.
“We are excited to expand Wingtips to St. Louis. Airport lounges are changing, and we know that travelers want an upscale airport lounge experience regardless of the airline they are flying,” said Sally Leible, president of St. Louis-based Airport Terminal Services which owns and operates Wingtips. “People expect greater flexibility and the amenities to make their air travel experience more pleasant. Our members and guests now have a place in Terminal 2 where they can escape the bustle of the airport and unwind prior to their flight.”
Travelers can access Wingtips St. Louis several ways. Single-Visit Passes (walk-ins welcome) are $38 and can be purchased online or in-person. Annual Wingtips Memberships start at $75 and Corporate Packages are also available. All can be purchased at online and in-person.
Airport Director, Rhonda Hamm-Niebruegge, said that Wingtips is a welcome addition to a bustling Terminal 2. “Wingtips is a common-use passenger lounge, a new trend in airports, and as the Airport continues to offer more flights and serve more passengers an amenity like this is a great option for our travelers. We are happy to have them here.”
